Welcome to Banking on Women’s event, Internships 101.
The name says it all! This event is about giving students the “low down” on how to land “hard-to-get” internships, what’s involved, and how to succeed throughout the program.
There will be a panel of students just like you, who have gone through various internship experiences in banking and finance.
We’re really looking to give you the opportunity to have honest conversations about internships with the help of insider knowledge from the panel.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions about anything internship related! Topics that may be covered include;
How to find relevant internship opportunities
How to progress through the recruitment process successfully
What a typical day looks like for an Intern
What type of work an Intern does
The different company cultures
How to convert this internship experience into a graduate offer
The panel discussion will be followed by a networking session with students who have interned in a variety of fields, including professional services, investment banks, industry and not-for-profit organisations.
